Dear Exciting users,
I'm a rookie with both Linux and Exciting.
I am trying to install Exciting on the linux system which has MPI installed.
After extracting the files from the package, i typed " perl setup.pl" to start the compiling.
Here is the process:
" > wumindt2@bugaboo:~/exciting> perl setup.pl
Enter the number of the platform that suites your system best: 3
You use the makefile from:
If it doesnt compile, edit build/make.inc and type make again
If you have MPI installed you can build exciting with k-point parallelization
build MPI binary ? (yes/No) yes
Select the mechanism to include MPI interface variables
1 use MPI module (f90 interfaces) recommended if available
2 use #include <mpif.h> required by some MPI implementations
(edit path in build mpiconf.inc if mpif.h is not in your includepath)
If you have multithreaded BLAS/LAPACK installed you can build exciting with SMP
build SMP lib binary (yes/No) yes
After these processes, not any executable file was compliled.
So what's the problem i have?
Besides, if the code need some library, how can i find whether i have it on the linux system
and link it to the exciting?
Thanks a lot!
